FLOODING HAS NOW EASED AT BATHURST
Minor flooding has eased along the Macquarie River at Bathurst where the river peaked at 4.94 metres Monday morning with moderate flooding.
The Macquarie River at Bathurst is currently at 2.84 metres and falling slowly, below the minor flood level.
River levels are expected to remain below the minor flood level.
What you need to do:
• STAY INFORMED - Be prepared to act if your situation changes.
• Stay up to date with information. Listen to flood warnings and follow advice on how to protect yourself, family, and property.
• People working or camping along the Upper Macquarie River should continue to monitor river heights.
• Motorists are reminded to use caution and drive to conditions. Flood debris such as mud, rocks or tree branches are likely to have been deposited across roads or low-level causeways which were affected by flood waters.
• Never drive, walk or play in floodwaters. Floodwater may be deep, fast flowing and may contain hidden snags and debris.
